Biography 
Peter Elliott is the film industry's primary primate. He both as a performer, in films like Missing Link and The Island of Doctor Moreau, and as a choreographer of other performers, as in Gorillas in the Mist and Congo. He also teaches animal study at London's Central School of Speech and Drama. The gorilla expert in Congo is named Peter Elliott, and Michael Crichton has said he may have named him after Peter.

 Role in film

Peter Elliot played one of the Wheelers in the film as well as doubling for Tik-Tok when need be.  He would be in the Tik-Tok costume when the character needed to walk up stairs.  He also had to learn to be on all fours for most of the day, using entirely different muscles than we use to walk.  The experience with the movie Greystoke gave him the qualifications for a wheeler in the new Oz film.
